Established in October of 2000
by three friends, Heart in Hand began as a two room office with
the desire to care for people in a warm and nurturing environment.
We grew in to three rooms then quickly exploded into the current
10 rooms over the past 3 years. We have lost an original partner
to other career paths. But we have continued to add new associates
to fill the void and expand upon our philosophy that health is a
whole body experience. BODY, MIND AND SOUL
2003 saw the addition of our Acupuncturist, Cheryl Nook, adding a truly holistic approach to healing to our hands-on treatments. The soul and body connection we began to address through the addition of theYoga practices of Bronwen Mason and David Charette, two powerful healers and teachers of the beautiful flow of Hatha Yoga. We have expanded again in adding Brook Batteau as a Medical Hypnotherapist, dealing with the mind issues and now we have added a Licensed Psychotherapist, Philip Jameson in 2004. Our center continues to grow and be improved by the addition of new clients and new ideas from each of the therapists and friends who we make through these years. We hope to continue to blossom and grow into a true healing center in 2005.Attaining benefit reimbursement for services to our cancer and medically challenged clients is a goal for this calendar year. We already are providing a discount to some of those fortunate enough to have medical coverage, but we feel it would benefit everyone if the insurance companies would actually treat us more like a necessity than a luxury.
