In our fast paced, technocentric life, we sometimes forget to stop, take stock in our surroundings and breathe. We are plugged in to a vast network of instant messaging, email and chatter. Our brains begin to get over stimulated and stressed by the slightest time alone-"OMG-I didn't post on Facebook what I ate this morning!" There are places to let that go. 

Massage therapy is egocentric. Personal space enhanced. When you make the time for youself and allow someone to phsically touch you, it can reset your brain from all the strain and stress of the week. The benefits to your brain chemistry-changing the balance of seratonin, melatonin and cortisol-allow you to better focus, perform and sleep. The movement of the muscle and fascial tissues of the limbs, the major joints of the body, the increase in blood flow to the skin are rejunevating and invigorating.
